Someone Tell Gore Vidal

Can someone please tell Gore Vidal that those who boast of their own wisdom are fools?

He has decided we will become a military dictatorship, as a partial result, of course, of the ignorance of religion. He seems to disdain just about everyone but himself...and maybe Bill Maher.

Here is something about him that I didn't know. This may explain it all: Gore Vidal is a fifth cousin of Jimmy Carter, and a distant cousin of Al Gore. He was also a member of the "World Can't Wait" group, an anti-Bush group organized by the Revolutionary Communist Party.

What a genius...

Ah, compassion....Valerie Jarrett style.

The conservatives are always being accused of not caring about people. Just this week, our local paper had a column about "What Would Jesus Do" and made it clear that real Christians would be backing Obama's healthcare. It's nauseating to see them use the word of God to push their agenda and lie about the intentions of anyone who would oppose their plan.

The libs are supposed to be the compassionate ones. Is Valerie Jarrett their poster child for compassion?

"Grove Parc Plaza was given $4 Mil to upgrade the 500 apartment structure. At that time it was given a failing grade of 82 and 3 yrs later after the $4 Mil was declared unlivable w/a grade of 13. It was declared unlivable due to fire damage, mice running in the halls and roofs collapsing. Wonder who got the $4 Mil, the poor Blacks living in those mice infested heatless projects or the corrupt politicians. Her company was able to give Obama a $10,000 contribution even though they couldn’t turn on the heat for the building during -20 degree temps. She was forced to turn on the heat after being sued by the courts. This is the same person who will be rationing your medical care."

May the TRUE liberals wake up! These people are not the friend of the poor, the oppressed, the children, the minorities. Those are the pawns in their chess game. Better get out there with the Tea Party people before it's too late.

Color Me Steadfast's all over the news and it is relentless. Never in our history have we been unable to voice any disagreement with the administration without being called a racist. You can't even look Obama directly in the eye without Maureen Dowd claiming it was a "threatening" look and a code look for racism. You couldn't suggest something he might like for lunch or someone would say it was an ethnic food and you were insinuating...something? And whatever you were insinuating, it is most definitely racism.

I will remain steadfast and I refuse to be intimidated by this obvious technique they are using. I will continue to protest legislation that I feel is wrong, even if my own friends and collegues in my community falsely label me for it. I will continue to write letters to the editor, even if the liberals in my community label me a racist for expressing disagreement. I will even call someone's methods socialism or communism if I feel that is what they are.

Race has been used by the left for years. It is a career for the likes of Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton and many more. It is a way to divide and conquer. It is a way to keep people dependent on a socialist system. It is a terribly destructive device that they have used in an evil way. Now is the time to stand up, remain steadfast and refuse to allow it to continue.

Connect the Dots to a Questionable Education

I'm sure many people have noticed how the vast number of people out there suddenly seem to be connecting around a few common themes, such as education, euthanasia & abortion (Planned Parenthood). Seems a strange coincidence, doesn't it?

Yesterday, people had reason to be concerned about Obama's visit into the schoolyards of America. Not only did he push his healthcare agenda on his live audience beforehand, but it's being followed up with an exciting new "Change the System" initiative on all of your kids' favorite channels....Nickelodeon, MTV, VH1 and more. Bill Ayers must be so proud!

Now, let's see who just a few of the players are in this new venture:

Bill Gates- Would that be the Bill Gates whose father was on the board of Planned Parenthood for years? And who has donated much to that organization? The one who hosted the billionaire's club meeting to discuss how they would control population growth, along with attendees George Soros and David Rockefeller?
They gathered at the home of Sir Paul Nurse, a British Nobel prize biochemist and president of the private Rockefeller University, in Manhattan on May 5. The informal afternoon session was so discreet that some of the billionaires’ aides were told they were at “security briefings”.

Viacom- Oh, yeah, the same people that brought us all the quality programming for kids. They love kids! (They just don't want you to have too many....)
MTV had partnered with Planned Parenthood in promoting a toll-free number for underage children to receive an unmarked package in the mail containing condoms.
They can help you with that, too, due to their frequent program partnerships and donations to Planned Parenthood.

They love Castro, too:
One hallmark of Viacom management has been the promotion of political ideology so leftward that one critic described the company's executives as "Viacommies." In February 2001 two Viacom executives -- the President and Chief Executive Officer of CBS Les Moonves and CEO of MTV Tom Freston -- were in Havana for a private dinner and meeting with Communist dictator Fidel Castro.

Your favorite czars Cass Sunstein and John Holdren seem to have similar ideas. Coincidence?

On the surface, this is supposed to be a program to promote getting a good education, but it is obviously far more than that. And they wonder why anyone would have a problem with Obama addressing their children...

Change Agents and Education

I am working on a post regarding the "change agents" actively at work in this administration to transform the USA. In the meantime, here is some of the agenda in a nutshell:

“To achieve world government, it is necessary to remove from the minds of men their individualism, loyalty to family tradition, national patriotism, and religious dogmas....We have swallowed all manner of poisonous certainties fed us by our parents, our Sunday and day school teachers, our politicians, our priests....The reinterpretation and eventual eradication of the concept of right and wrong which has been the basis of child training, the substitution of intelligent and rational thinking for faith in the certainties of old people, these are the belated objectives...for charting the changes in human behavior.”

Just Another Labor Day at the SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center)

I had a few people asking about this "brouhaha" with Obama's speech and lesson plan for the school kids next week. I decided to see if I could find the suggestions for the older kids, so I typed "obama activities grades 9-12" into Google. It took me to a link to a delightful lesson plan on Labor Day presented by the Southern Poverty Law Center.

Here is a little excerpt:
"Often we take aspects of the work world for granted. For example, that a CEO will be better paid than a construction worker. Or that being a teacher is more important than is being a waiter. These assumptions allow us to perpetuate a system that allows gross inequities in pay between professions, and designates some jobs as less important than others, no matter how much society depends on them."
Gee, it kind of sounds like they might be promoting the same pay across the board, no matter what your job is, doesn't it? That doesn't sound quite right...

Here's a little more:
Immigrants take jobs away from native-born Americans.
Immigrants concentrated in low-skilled jobs drive down wages.
Immigrants don't pay taxes.
If there weren't so many immigrants taking jobs, unemployment would be lower.
Immigrants send most of what they earn to their home countries and as a result, they don't stimulate the economy.

Note: All five statements are common beliefs, yet each can be disproved. This section of the activity is based on the book, “‘They Take Our Jobs!’ and 20 Other Myths About Immigration,” by Aviva Chomsky.

Who is this Aviva Chomsky that they reference? Well, it appears she is the daughter of Noam Chomsky, libertarian socialist and anarchist. She apparently considers illegal immigration laws to be "legalized discrimination" (see her article here). She seems to advocate removing ANY restrictions on immigration (see her article here).

I think a lot of people on the left find it ridiculous that anyone opposes Obama coming into the classroom. What they don't seem to "get" is that many people feel that an Obama curriculum, if taken further, would eventually end up looking a lot like the lesson plan above....and that is definitely a problem. Why don't we wait until that happens? I think we have found out that the time for waiting is over.

Must See TV...Fall Propaganda Lineup?

I did a little digging this week, after hearing about the NEA (National Endowment for the Arts) issue, where they were urging artists to promote the Obama agenda. I came across this little gem:

You may recall that the NEA referred to the "Corporation", and I decided to see just who that was. It turned out to ne the Corporation For National and Community Service (CNCS), which you have probably heard of before. This is the same "Corporation" that saw to it that Inspector General Gerald Walpin was fired, and now it appears they have big plans for our fall TV lineup!

From the article:

"National service will be at the center of television programming this fall on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, The NonProfit Times has learned. The White House, The Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), AARP and the Corporation For National and Community Service are expected to be part of the announcement of the initiative in coming days.

Also involved is the Points of Light Institute and other organizations that were part of the ServiceNation Summit held this past September. Calls to the participating organizations either went unreturned or spokespeople have declined to comment on the record.

The announcement is expected to involve First Lady Michelle Obama and leaders of all of the organizations involved, multiple sources told The NonProfit Times. The effort is similar to the EIF’s push this past September for Stand Up To Cancer, an event to raise money for cancer research that involved network programming.

In this case, instead of one show simulcast on the broadcast outlets, national service will be written into shows on all of the outlets. There will also be public service spots and online outreach.

“It’s about how to amplify the president’s call to service, to get more Americans involved in service,” one source told The NonProfit Times.

OK, maybe it's just me... but this sure sounds like Propaganda TV, especially knowing the CNCS is involved. Someone needs to look into this and find out just what else they have planned for us, besides all major media and national artists?
